Dee Karl: History Commemorated; Fans Divided You can't please all the people all the time. Especially if they're hockey fans.

Charles Charles Charles...you've destroyed the franchise, the memories of great years...you haven't put an NHL caliber team on the ice during the entire time you've been here...and the nerve of you to boast those 4 cups...can't want for the 2 years to be over...just ride off into your sunset.

Now one other thing...Ho Sang touting that he's going to be better than JT...are you kidding me...not a chance in living hell.

The only thing I have to say about the patch is that it is pretty much saying "we the Islanders franchise have no chance to win the 5th Cup in 2015"

Where did he say he is going to be better then JT? I know that he mentioned that if he could hang with JT then he would have a great chance of making the team. Where does he say that he will be better then him?

Did you even read the article? Or did you just assume he said something stupid and run with it because, well, (frank) it why not?

And that will be his goal when he heads to his first NHL training camp next month with the Islanders. While Ho-Sang admitted he's not sure where he will be playing come of the start of the season, he is not planning on sitting back, just being happy to be there.

"What's my goal? Ho-Sang said, repeating the question. "It's to be better than everyone else there. I want to be better than John Tavares, I know he's an unbelievable player and I want to push myself against those guys because that's how you get there. If I'm going head to head and pushing toes with Johnny T, chances are pretty good that I'd make the team."

Nowhere is he "touting that he's going to be better than John Tavares", in fact if anything he's paying him the ultimate compliment of using him as a benchmark for hard-work, success, and skill.

Dude, honestly how old are u? Does it make u feel better to talk trash on a computer?

Plus if I were u, I'd be more concerned about your team trying to win another cup when the QUEEN's window n team to win is now....

i know that this wont go over well with a lot of people but IMO the hatred for wang has gone way out of control; to totally disregard that the legit saved the team from being shipped out to bumble(frank) canada somehow always gets swept aside.

You can't argue that he saved the team, but he's done (frank) all to put a winning product on the ice from day one. He's made approximately zero correct decisions in appointing management from the get-go which has lead to years of misery. We don't need to beat that dead horse though.

I do appreciate very much that he saved the team, but I'm just not sure how much weight that's going to carry, for me personally, in giving him a break. I personally detest him. But, in fairness...like I've mentioned once or twice before, I have family that worked for/with him and have never had a good thing to say about the man. So I'm going to be biased.
